H. Freeman - Location Unknown

The evidence about H. Freeman is limited to a few planes that exist in possession of tool collectors.

It is not known where he worked or lived and only analysis of planes marked with his name suggest that he lived during second half of the 18th century.

The photographs and comments below are provided by Richard Arnold:

A pair of interesting 18th century planes by a maker we know very little about. They are marked, H Freeman, with the letter N reversed. Note the unusual huge curved chamfers. Both planes are 10 inches long, so are probably pre 1760.

They also have an owners mark of IG which seems to crop up regularly on early London planes.
